A fine day but showery.

Pa and Frank began to shear the sheep today.

Harve covered the late potatoes this P.M.

I finished planting the North Bottom field this forenoon and spent the afternoon on the South Bottom.

Received a letter from (cousin) Rosa Harvey today.

Hogs were bringing $6.50 (per hundredweight, 65¢ a pound, live weight) in Churdan today.
