“Halloween” night.

This has been a very dark day; the afternoon being quite rainy; a thin mist falling from the South East.

I picked a small jag (wagonload) of corn in the North field this forenoon; found it of very poor quality and small as well.

In the P.M. I worked on the pigpen.
